I mostly say this because Daffy is my favorite character, but also in case CN and Variety are right. I'd also add in one of the Eds, since EEnE is, as of today, regular Cartoon Network's longest running show. Probably Ed, since he was also president for a while haha
I like Daffy too (heck, the Looney Tunes Show version of him is probably my favorite version of the character), but I’m keeping him where he’s at.
Also, I have 7/8 of the first hour on tape/DVD, and Rhapsody Rabbit was the first short they aired.
I’m satisfied with the lineup I have in the front row (plus, all three Eds are in the finished picture). The Eds have been around for a good long time,and they are the longest-running original series, technically. If you look at shows that continue on, Ben 10 is the longest-running franchise (over 150 episodes and counting and five films).
If you want to be technical, the longest running series on Cartoon Network is actually Tom and Jerry. An hour of those shorts have been on the network since day one, and they’re still there every weekday afternoon.
