Way back in June 2012, Howard the Duck and Joe Quesada made a plea to George Lucas to release Howard the Duck, the first Marvel theatrical film … ever (not counting the Captain America serials of the 1940s), on BluRay.

Unthinkable? Hell yeah, the movie wasn’t the greatest by any stretch.

But yesterday happened, and now Disney owns Lucasfilm, the producers of the film.

Wonder if the offer still stands.
