The Roots | Dear God 2.0
I loved this song instantly the first time I heard it…and not just because I’m a diehard Roots fan. There’s been times when you just don’t know where to turn to, you don’t know who to talk to about anything, and you’re at your lowest point and you don’t think that things can get any lower…and you’re left wondering…“if He’s up there watching out for me…why did He let this happen?”.
But from experience, it’s at those times, that He shows up and lights that path for you…showing you that His plans far outweigh yours. Faith trumps all.

Never heard of this song. But it hit me hard.
Trying to straighten out some of the mess on the homefront, I ask why. I see the world around me, why we’re so full of hate towards each other. Every now and then, there are bright spots, moments that make you glad to be alive. They’re few and far between, but when they happen, when you see it, you smile. You have to .
